Our story
The Culture Code Foundation was founded for leaders eager to transform their work environments and drive their success forward. Better work environments lead to more engaged employees and this in return directly influences your bottom line. Our goal is to inspire CEOs to be courageous as we guide them in forging a culture that truly aligns with their business objectives.
Erik Pfannmöller aims to create positive value as an entrepreneur. When he founded his last company, Solvemate, in 2015, he was committed to exceptional engagement. That’s why he developed a Culture Code that became central to Solvemate's recruitment and operations, prompting many to say, "Every company should have that."
Paulina von Mirbach-Benz joined Solvemate as Head of Sales in 2021. Previously, she witnessed the negative effects of toxic work cultures. At Solvemate, she was amazed by the effects of the Culture Code regarding empowerment, accountability, ownership and employee engagement.
In 2022 Solvemate was acquired by Dixa. Erik and Paulina first hand experienced not only the cultural complexity in acquisitions, but also were part of the cultural alignment. Since then, they studied a vast amount of literature and worked on formalizing their method to forge high performance cultures.
Erik and Paulina founded the Culture Code Foundation to inspire leaders to review and formalize their own culture, ignite employee engagement, and guide modern companies towards excellence.
Mission
The Culture Code Foundation assists companies to create their own distinctive, participatory culture, offering guidance throughout the implementation phase and during successive cultural cycles to help drive business growth.

Of course we have our own Culture Code! We pride ourselves in practicing what we preach. If you read through our values you will get a clear picture what it means to work with us, our DNA and what our unhackable USP is.
Our office
Whilst we are true believers of remote work and think that most of our work can be done virtually, we have our headquarter in Munich, Germany. We Culturecoders meet there regularly, but are structurally a remote-first company. With regards to our customers: If you like, we visit you and will be on-site.
